6應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求，和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。7神所賜、出人意外的平安必在基督耶穌裏保守你們的心懷意念。

平安
有譯本翻譯為超越人類理解的平安，不只是一種主觀感覺。
神的平安平安保守我們的心懷意念成為聖潔！
你要保守你心，勝過保守一切，因為一生的果效是由心發出 (箴言 4:23)
你們要聖潔，因為我耶和華－你們的神是聖潔的。(利未記 19:2)
因為從裏面，就是從人心裏，發出惡念、這一切的惡都是從裏面出來，且能污穢人。(馬可福音 7：21-23)
希臘文是 eirēnē (εἰρήνη)。英文名Irene就是來自哪裏。
神的平安是指神與祂的子民和好。(以弗所書 2:14-15)

耶路撒冷的意思是耶和華神的平安。彌賽亞會以和平之君的身份來到耶路撒冷。(以賽亞書 9:6)
掛慮
希臘文是 mérimna（「分割」）。掛慮的字面意思是打碎一個部分，從整體中分開；
馬大！馬大！你為許多的事思慮煩擾(路加福音 10：41)
凡事交託
有人喜歡把禱告分成 ACTS，Adoration敬拜、Confession認罪、Thanksgiving感謝和Supplication祈求。
一般的祈求: 願人都尊你的名為聖。願你的國降臨，願你的旨意行在地上如同行在天上。
具體個人的需要請求: 我們日用的飲食，今日賜給我們。
不要為明天憂慮，因為明天自有明天的憂慮；一天的難處一天當就夠了。(馬太福音 6：26-27，31-34)
感恩的禱告提醒我們，神聽到了我們昨天的禱告，今日已經回應。明天也是一樣。

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

Peace
Verse 7 speaks of a peace that “surpasses all understanding.” It is not merely a subjective feeling.
God’s peace is a supernatural power that can guard our hearts. It keeps our hearts and minds holy!
Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy. (Leviticus 19:2)
For from within, out of people’s hearts, come evil thoughts – All these evil things come from within and defile a person. (Mark 7:21-23).
The Greek word is eirēnē (εἰρήνη). The English name Irene comes from there.
God’s peace refers to God’s reconciliation with His people.
My peace (eirēnē) I give to you. (John 14:27)
We have peace(eirēnēn) with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
Jerusalem means the peace of Yahweh. The prophet Isaiah prophesied long ago that the Messiah would come to Jerusalem as the Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
Worries
The Greek word for worry in verse 6 is mérimna (see 3307 /merízō, “to divide”). The literal meaning of worry is to break a part and separate it from the whole.
Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things (Luke 10:41)
Entrust
Some people like to divide prayer into ACTS: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication.
General supplication: your name be honored as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Specific and personal supplication: Give us today our daily bread.
Don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. (Matthew 6:26-27, 31-34)
Prayer of thanksgiving reminds us that God heard our prayers yesterday and has answered them today. Tomorrow will be the same.
