美國與以色列在2/28/2026對伊朗發動聯合大規模攻擊，美國的行動代號為「史詩怒火」（Operation Epic Fury），以色列的行動代號為「咆哮之獅」（Operation Roaring Lion）。這是記念伊朗和中東人民的日子，特別要為該地區的公義、自由與和平祈禱。這也是記念美國政府和軍隊領袖的日子，特別是祈求神的靈賦予領袖們智慧和道德勇氣。
雖然伊朗基督教受到嚴重宗教迫害，而且往往是托辭國家安全，但伊朗基督教是近年來成長最快的基督教團體之一。由多位伊朗基督教領袖聯合發表的聲明表示，盼望伊朗能像居鲁士大帝時代一樣，再次成為宗教容忍與自由的先驅。在美國的基督徒，生活在自由的土地上，特別有責任為主裡弟兄姊妹的宗教自由禱告。幾年前俄羅斯侵略烏克蘭之際，李業基牧師給「這是天父世界」寫了一份舊曲新詞，在一篇關於自由的講道中作為回應。今日放在這訊息中，憑歌寄意，作為盼望自由的禱文。
宗教自由的基礎是神創造人類的靈魂自由，但只有透過基督的救恩，人才能掙脫罪惡的捆綁，重生自由的靈魂。福音戒毒機構「國際晨曦會漁夫生命輔導中心」創辦人陳子明老師將於3/13/2026（星期五）晚8PM於San Leandro堂舉行佈道聚會，主題為「人生本自由」。請禱告記念及邀請親友參加。

本年度北加州華人浸信會區聯會的領袖大會「一團隊一夢想」將於3/7/2026假San Leandro 堂9AM-3PM舉行，主題的焦點是打造高效能的領導團隊。講員包括創欣神學院院長陳世欽牧師、聖格與隊工創辦人梁澤銘博士與美南浸信會大使命區聯會宣教主任Dr. Mike Stewart。今年新特色是按事工分組午餐，讓各教會的事工領袖可以聯繫和分享經驗，是匯點各部事工領袖和義工擴闊視野不容錯過的好機會。詳情及報名請看baptist.cc。

祈禱天使將在 3/29 主日下午 1:30-3:00PM有一個缀要的禱告訓練。討論祈禱天使的工作發展及守則等。請有意在禱告方面服侍的弟兄姊妹參加。
San Leandro堂準備在復活節期間的幾項活動需要特別禱告支持。
- 棕樹主日（3/29/2026），San Leandro堂將開始主日英語崇拜，9:30AM 在多功能廳聚會。
- 受難節 （4/3/2026）下午和週六（4/4/2026）上午，San Leandro堂將舉辦「十架之路」（Via Dolorosa）多站展覽式的默想禱告行。
- 復活節主日（4/5/2026），除了三種語言的例行主日崇拜外，San Leandro堂將舉辦家庭同樂尋蛋遊戲。下午會有浸禮。

The United States and Israel launched a joint military attack against Iran on 2/28/2026. The U.S. operation was codenamed “Operation Epic Fury,” while the Israel’s was “Operation Roaring Lion.” This is a day to remember the people in Iran and the Middle East, especially to pray for justice, freedom, and peace in the region. This is also a day to remember the leaders of our government and military, especially to pray that God will empower them with moral courage and wisdom in the Spirit.
Despite severe religious persecution against Iranian Christians, often under the pretext of national security, Iranian Christianity has emerged as one of the fastest-growing Christian communities in recent years. A joint statement by hundreds of Iranian Christian leaders on this joint military action expresses hope that Iran may once again become a herald of religious tolerance and liberty in the region, as it was in the era of Cyrus the Great. As people living in a land of freedom, American Christians bear a special responsibility to pray for the religious liberty of brothers and sisters in Christ. Several years ago, when Russia invaded Ukraine, Pastor Gideon rewrote the Cantonese lyrics for “This Is the Father’s World” as a response in a sermon on freedom. It is linked at the end of this message as a prayer for freedom in song.
The foundation of religious freedom is the soul freedom that God created in humanity. Yet only through salvation in Christ can people be broken free the bondage of sin and be reborn with a liberated soul. Chi Ming Chan, founder of the gospel-based drug rehabilitation organization Peter Life Counselling Center will hold an evangelistic meeting, “Life Was Meant to be Free,” at Crosspoint San Leandro on the evening of 3/13/2026 at 8PM. Please remember this meeting in prayer and set aside time to invite family and friends to attend.
The Mandarin Crosspoint 101 will be held on Sunday, 3/1/2026. There will be lunch at 1PM, followed by the class meeting from 1:30 to 3:30PM. The 101 Course introduces the history and vision of Crosspoint and is required for becoming a church member. Please register here.
The Northern California Chinese Baptist Association will hold the annual leadership conference, “One Team, One Dream” on 3/7/2026 at Crosspoint San Leandro Church from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a thematic focus on forging highly effective leadership teams. Speakers include Rev. Dr. Joshua Ting (President, GETS Theological Seminary), Dr. Sam Leung (Founder of P&T Ministries), and Rev. Dr. Mike Stewart (Director of Mission, Great Commission Association of Southern Baptist Churches). A new feature of this year’s conference is lunch groups break-out by ministry focus, allowing ministry leaders across churches to connect and share experiences. This is a great opportunity for broadening the horizons that leaders and volunteers across all Crosspoint ministries would not want to miss! The premiere of “God is Good,” based on a true story, followed by an evangelistic witness featuring the depicted real-life persons will be held at the Fox Theatre on 3/8/2026 at 3 PM and 7 PM. The event is hosted by TMEA US Click here for details.
The Prayer Angels will conduct a brief prayer training session on Sunday, 3/29/2026 1:30-3:00 PM. The session will discuss the work and operating guidelines of Prayer Angels. Brothers and sisters interested in serving in prayer are welcome to attend.
Crosspoint San Leandro needs special prayer support for several upcoming events during the Easter season.
- On Palm Sunday, 3/29/2026, the San Leandro will begin the Sunday English worship service, meeting 9:30AM at the multifunction hall.
- On Good Friday (4/3/2026) afternoon and Saturday (4/4/2026) morning, the San Leandro campus will host the Via Dolorosa, an exhibition-style multi-station meditational prayer walk.
- On Easter Sunday 4/5/2026, in addition to the regular Sunday services in three languages, there will be family-oriented egg-hunt games at the San Leandro campus. And there will be baptismal ceremony in the afternoon.
