1. Trust Each Other

³ Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty. ⁴ But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” (Acts 6: 3-34) ESV

¹⁰ “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. (Luke 16: 10) ESV

¹³ Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered. (Proverbs 11: 13) ESV

2. Be considerate of one another

¹  Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution. ² And the twelve summoned the full number of the disciples and said, “It is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables. 3 Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty. (Acts 6: 1-3) ESV

²⁷ Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. (James 1: 27) ESV

⁸ Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. (1 Peter 3: 8) ESV

3. Tolerate One Another

⁵ And what they said pleased the whole gathering, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch ⁶ These they set before the apostles, and they prayed and laid their hands on them. (Acts 6: 5-6) ESV

⁵ Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, ⁶ who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped. (Philippians 2: 5-6) ESV

² with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. (Ephesians 4: 2) ESV

4. Share Same Mission

⁴ But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” ⁵ And what they said pleased the whole gathering. (Acts  6: 4-5) ESV

² Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. (Philippians 2: 2) ESV

⁷ And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith. (Acts 6: 7) ESV

³ 主內朋友們，要從你們當中選出七個有名望、受聖靈充滿、又有智慧的人，讓他們來負責這事務。⁴ 至於我們，我們要專心於禱告和傳道的任務。（使徒行傳 6: 3-4）現中

一個人在小事上靠得住，在大事上也靠得住；一個人在小事上不誠實，在大事上也不誠實。（路加福音 16: 10）現中

愛說閒話的人洩漏機密；誠實人堪受信託。往來傳舌的出賣信心，可靠的人守口如瓶。（箴言 11: 13）現中/ NIV

2. 要彼此體諒

¹ 說希臘話的猶太人埋怨使徒在分配每日的生活費這事上疏忽了他們當中的寡婦。² 因此，十二使徒召集全體門徒，對他們說：「叫我們放下傳講上帝信息的工作，去辦膳食，這是不應該的。³ 所以，主內朋友們，要從你們當中選出七個有名望、受聖靈充滿、又有智慧的人，讓他們來負責這事務。（使徒行傳 6: 1-3）現中

在父上帝眼中，那純潔沒有缺點的虔誠便是：照顧苦難中的孤兒寡婦嗎。（雅各書 1: 27）現中

總括來說：你們都要同心，互相同情，親愛如手足，以仁慈謙讓相待。（彼得前書 3: 8）現中

3. 能互相包容

⁵ 使徒的建議得到全體的贊同。於是大家推選司提反；他是一個信心堅定、被聖靈充滿的人；又選出腓利、伯羅哥羅、尼迦挪、提門、巴米拿，和改宗加入過猶太教的安提阿人尼哥拉。⁶ 大家請他們站在使徒面前；使徒禱告後，就給他們行按手禮。（使徒行傳 6: 5-6）現中

⁵ 你們要以基督耶穌的心為心；⁶ 他原有上帝的本質，卻沒有濫用跟上帝同等的特權。（腓立比書 2: 5-6）現中

² 無論做甚麼事情，或待人或接物，態度都要謙虛、溫柔，還要有忍耐，並且要用愛心，互相寬容。（以弗所書 4: 2）當代

4. 抱共同使命 

⁴ 至於我們，我們要專心於禱告和傳道的任務。⁵ 使徒的建議得到全體的贊同。（使徒行傳 6: 4-5）現中

² 我要求你們，要有共同的目標，同樣的愛心，相同的情感，和一致的想法，好讓我充滿喜樂。（腓立比書 2: 2）現中

⁷ 上帝的信息繼續傳開；在耶路撒冷的門徒數目增加很多，許多祭司也接受了這信仰。（使徒行傳 6: 7）現中
