This past week saw a tragic fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong. May there be a renewed spirit of mutual caring among people in such times. Let us also remember the national guard soldiers who were shot in Washington DC and their families. Let us offer thanksgiving to the patriots in this land.
The Thanksgiving event of hosting students from California Crosspoint Academy was a great success, leaving beautiful memories for both students and host families. Don’t miss the opportunity next time!
The Explore the Bible Gospel of Matthew study will begin in December and include a daily reading schedule. Personal study guides are $5 each, with a choice between Simplified and Traditional Chinese characters. Leader’s manual and other materials are freely available for group study. Samples are available at the reception desk. Order here.
Cantonese Alpha Course continues this Sunday at 11:15 AM.
This Sunday, 11/30, the Mandarin Ministry will host an outreach event titled “Voices of Friendship in Harmony” at 1:00 PM. The program includes lunch, karaoke, and personal story sharing. Lunch is $10 per person.
A Cantonese Crosspoint 101 class will be held this Sunday at 2PM at Crosspoint Milpitas. The Crosspoint 101 course is a requirement for membership application at our church. Anyone interested in learning about Crosspoint Church is welcome to attend.
A child dedication service will be held after the Cantonese worship service on Sunday, 12/7 for Christian parents. Please contact Pastor Gideon if you wish to participate.
The annual Crosspoint membership meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 12/7 at 2:30 PM at the Crosspoint Milpitas.
The next 123 Let’s Go shopping mall outreach will take place on Saturday, 12/13. Details can be found here.
The next baptism is scheduled held on Sunday afternoon, 12/14. Those interested in being baptized should contact the pastoral staff. Baptism is a wonderful opportunity to witness your faith to family and friends.
A Christmas Eve Music Worship Service will be held at the Crosspoint Leandro on Wednesday, December 24th at 8PM, followed by dessert and fellowship time. Please set aside time and invite friends!
For Crosspoint Chinese Christian Center:
- Both the teen and adult makeup classes are now fully enrolled.
- The Mobile App Class will be held on Saturday, 12/6 from 10 to 11AM.
- Adult English classes continue every Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Contact Irene Ng for details.
- The Study Center is open every Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Middle school students in the neighborhood are welcome to register.
