A baptismal service was held at Crosspoint San Leandro last Sunday, with nine brothers and sisters sharing their personal testimonies of salvation and committing themselves before the congregation to follow the Lord Jesus Christ for the rest of their lives. A photo album is available here.
Participants in the Mexicali youth short-term mission trip came to Crosspoint San Leandro this past Friday evening to share their testimonies. After dinner and group games, over 20 youth and chaperones shared their experiences one by one. A photo album is available here. Next year, more opportunities to participate in church-wide activities will be available to the youths at Crosspoint San Leandro, including the winter retreat and summer short-term mission trips.
123 Let’s Go, the shopping mall evangelistic movement, held its August outreach event this past Saturday. Crosspoint brothers and sisters participated primarily at the Union City El Mercado Plaza and Milpitas Ulferts Center sites. The next outreach will be held on Saturday 9/13. The San Leandro Crosspoint Community Center will open the study center every Tuesday 4 to 6PM starting 8/12. Middle and high school students from the neighborhood will be welcome to join. Details will be announced soon.
The Media Evangelistic Association will hold two “Shock Mystery” evangelistic events at Crosspoint this coming weekend. The Milpitas campus will host a premiere event on Friday 8/15 at 7:30 PM. The Pleasanton campus will feature a testimony sharing on Sunday 8/17 at 10 AM as part of the Cantonese service. The promotional video can be viewed here.
