本主日8/16，張瑪莉姊妹將分別在粵語及國語崇拜中證道，信息題目是「豐盛的使命人生」。她也會在8/23及8/30分別在Milpitas及Pleasanton堂證道。
8/30 (主日) 11:15AM-12:30PM 於多功能廳將舉行粵語保健講座，由聯盟創辦人健腦聯盟創辦人徐銘育醫學博士(Dr. Francis Chui) 主講「失智症: 四十歲後預防須知」。毋須預先報名，但歡迎預先提出希望徐醫生回答的問題。詳情請看這裏。
8/28及9/4連續兩個星期五8-9:30PM，S&S 及FOCUS粵語小組將舉辦新學年研討會，著重於親子溝通與支持。臨床心理學家葛琳卡博士(Dr. Katherine Kot)是9/4晚的講員。歡迎邀請有學齡兒童及青少年的家庭參加。
9/13 (主日) 12:30-2:30PM，國、粵、英語事工將濟濟一堂於多功能廳舉行「中秋聯歡」，包括午餐、遊戲及獎品，免費參加，歡迎邀請親戚朋友，請先向小組組長報名。
9/25 (星期五) 8-9:30PM 於多功能廳將有英語升學講座，由FLEX College Prep 的專門顧問主講，耳機國粵語翻譯。歡迎家長及青少年一同參加。
「Llywelyn」是新為英語成人設立的生命小組，預計於週五晚上8點聚會。「Llywelyn」是「Lewelling」姓氏的根源，在威爾斯成為大不列顛一部分之前，威爾斯王室的姓氏。「Llywelyn」字根似乎是llew（獅子）或llyw（領袖）及elyn（像樣）。這個生命小組的目標就是活出基督的僕人領袖樣式。

- 本週六8/22，匯點與眾銅樂團將於10AM舉行推介會，以樂會友接觸社區。
- 下主日8/23（主日），匯點親子美樂隊將於11:15AM舉行推介會，讓家長與孩子能一同享受學習音樂的樂趣。
- 9/11（週五），Milpitas堂將舉辦「目光折射: 李璧琦音樂生命分享會」；隨後9/13（主日）於Pleasanton分享福音主日信息。
- 秋季的Lifeway探索聖經系列將於九月開始，研讀羅馬書。可以透過教會訂購羅馬書及之前三季的個人研讀指南（冬季的馬太福音1-13章、春季的馬太福音14-28章，以及夏季的約書亞記、士師記和路得記）。小組組長可向教會索取小組研讀指南。

This Sunday, 8/16, Mary Cheung will bring the message to both the Cantonese and Mandarin services. The message is titled “An Abundant Life on Mission.” She will also bring the message to Crosspoint Milpitas and Crosspoint Pleasanton on 8/23 and 8/30 respectively.
There will be a Cantonese health seminar on Sunday, 8/30, 11:15 AM-12:30 PM at the Multipurpose Hall. Dr. Francis Chui, co-founder of the Caring Minds Alliance, will speak on “Dementia: What You Need to Know About Prevention After 40.” No advance registration is required, but you are welcome to submit questions in advance for Dr. Chui to answer. The S&S and FOCUS life groups will host back-to-school seminars in Cantonese focusing on parent-child communication and support on two consecutive Fridays, 8/28 and 9/4, 8 to 9:30 PM. Clinical psychologist Dr. Katherine Kot will be the speaker on the evening of 9/4. Families with school-age children and teenagers are welcome to attend.
On Sunday, 9/13, 12:30–2:30 PM, the Mandarin, Cantonese, and English ministries will come together at the Multipurpose Hall for a “Mid-Autumn Celebration,” featuring lunch, games, and prizes. Registration is free. You are welcome to invite relatives and friends to attend. Please register with life group leaders in advance.
On Friday, 9/25, 8–9:30 PM, a college admissions seminar in English led by a specialist advisor from FLEX College Prep will be held at the Multipurpose Hall. Mandarin and Cantonese interpretation via headphones will be provided. Parents and youths are welcome to attend together.
“Llywelyn” is a new Life Group established for English-speaking adults, scheduled to meet on Friday evenings at 8:00 PM. The Welsh origin of the name Lewelling, Llywelyn was the surname of the Welsh royal family before Wales became part of Great Britain. Its etymological roots seem to be llew (lion) or llyw (leader) and elyn (like). This new life group is dedicated to the servant-leadership likeness of Christ.
Repeating previously announced items:
- This Saturday 8/22, we will hold an open house for the Crosspoint Brass Ensemble at 10AM, which is a channel to reach out to the community through music.
- Next Sunday, 8/23, we will hold an open house for the Melodion Band for the Family at 11:15AM, which allows parents and children to enjoy learning music together.
- On Friday 9/11 Crosspoint Milpitas will host Becky Lee for a gospel concert, followed by a Sunday message on 9/13 at Crosspoint Pleasanton.
- The Fall season of Lifeway Explore the Bible series will begin in September and study the Epistle to Romans. Personal study guides for Romans and previous season (Matthew 1-13 in Winter, Matthew 14-28 in Spring, and Joshua, Judges and Ruth in Summer) can be ordered through the church. Group leaders may obtain free leader guides.
