- 9/11（星期五），Milpitas堂將舉辦「目光折射: 李璧琦音樂生命分享會」；隨後9/13（主日）於Pleasanton分享福音主日信息。
- 9/13 (主日) 12:30-2:30PM，國、粵、英語事工將濟濟一堂於多功能廳舉行「中秋聯歡」，包括午餐、遊戲及獎品，免費參加，歡迎邀請親戚朋友，請先向小組組長報名。
- 9/25 (星期五) 8-9:30PM 於多功能廳將有英語升學講座，由FLEX College Prep 的專門顧問主講，耳機國粵語翻譯。歡迎家長及青少年一同參加。
- 秋季的Lifeway探索聖經系列將於九月開始，研讀羅馬書。可以透過教會訂購羅馬書及之前三季的個人研讀指南（冬季的馬太福音1-13章、春季的馬太福音14-28章，以及夏季的約書亞記、士師記和路得記）。小組組長可向教會索取小組研讀指南。

This Sunday, 8/23, Pastor Jane Lam will serve as the guest speaker for the English worship service. The Crosspoint Melodion Band for the Family hold an open house at 11:15AM in the Multifunction Hall. The band is an opportunity for parents and children to enjoy learning music together. No prior musical experience is required. Those who have registered are reminded to attend.
On the next two consecutive Fridays (8/28 and 9/4) 8PM-9:30PM, the FOCUS and S&S Cantonese groups will host a Family Communication Seminar for the new school year, focusing on mutual listening between parents and children. Clinical psychologist Dr. Katherine Kot is the guest speaker on 4. Families with school-age children and teenagers are warmly invited to attend.
Next Sunday 8/30, Pastor Jeremy Sin, Executive Director of the Chinese Baptist Fellowship of the United States and Canada, will serve as the guest speaker for the Cantonese worship service. Dr. Francis Chui, co-founder of the Caring Minds Alliance, will speak on “Dementia: What You Need to Know About Prevention After 40.” No advance registration is required, but you are welcome to submit questions in advance for Dr. Chui to answer. “Llywelyn” is a newly formed English-speaking adult small group that meets every Friday at 8:00 PM and has already begun. Those interested in joining should inquire at the reception desk.
Yesterday, Crosspoint Brass Ensemble had an open house. Rehearsals will take place weekly starting Saturday, 9/12. Musicians are welcome to join. Please inquire at the reception desk.
Cantonese Bible Study James (Part 2) will be held from 9/20 to 10/18, with a total of 5 sessions, meeting 11:15 to 12:45 PM. Please sign up with life group leaders or at the reception desk.
Repeating previously announced items:
- On Friday 9/11 Crosspoint Milpitas will host Becky Lee for a gospel concert, followed by a Sunday message on 9/13 at Crosspoint Pleasanton.
- On Sunday, 9/13, 12:30–2:30 PM, the Mandarin, Cantonese, and English ministries will come together at the Multipurpose Hall for a “Mid-Autumn Celebration,” featuring lunch, games, and prizes. Registration is free. You are welcome to invite relatives and friends to attend. Please register with life group leaders in advance.
- On Friday, 9/25, 8–9:30 PM, a college admissions seminar in English led by a specialist advisor from FLEX College Prep will be held at the Multipurpose Hall. Mandarin and Cantonese interpretation via headphones will be provided. Parents and youths are welcome to attend together.
- The Fall Lifeway Bible Exploration series will begin in September with a study of the Book of Romans. You can order through the church the Book of Romans and the personal study guides for the first three quarters (Winter: Matthew 1–13; Spring: Matthew 14–28; and Summer: Joshua, Judges, and Ruth). Small group leaders may request small group study guides from the church.
